St. Regina
Saint Regina, also known as Saint Reine, was a 3rd-century virgin martyr who was born in Alise-Sainte-Reine, France. According to tradition, she was tortured and martyred during the persecution of Christians under the Roman Emperor Decius. Regina refused to renounce her faith and was subjected to various tortures, including being burned, but she miraculously survived. She was ultimately beheaded for her refusal to worship the Roman gods. Saint Regina is venerated as a symbol of faithfulness and endurance in the face of persecution.
