St. Olivia
Saint Olivia was a virgin martyr who lived in the 9th century in Brescia, Italy, during the reign of Emperor Hadrian. According to tradition, she was a noblewoman who converted to Christianity and distributed her wealth to the poor. Olivia was arrested and tortured for her faith but refused to renounce it. She was ultimately beheaded for her refusal to worship pagan gods. Saint Olivia is venerated as a martyr for her steadfastness in the face of persecution.
