St. Joanne
Saint Joanna, also known as Joanna the Myrrh-bearer, is mentioned in the Gospel of Luke as one of the women who supported Jesus and the apostles from her own means. She is also mentioned as one of the women who discovered the empty tomb of Jesus on the morning of the resurrection. Joanna is considered a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church, and her feast day is celebrated on May 24th. She is venerated as an example of faithful discipleship and generosity.
