The Way of the Cross with Text from Sacred Scripture In English and Spanish
During the Turkish occupation of the Holy Land in the late Middle Ages, when pilgrims were prevented from visiting its sacred sites, the custom arose of making replicas of those holy places, where the faithful might come to pray. One of the most popular of these devotions was the "Stations of the Way of the Cross," which were imitations of the "stations," or stopping places of prayer on the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem. By the late sixteenth century the fourteen stations as we know them today, were erected in almost all Catholic churches.
A "fifteenth station" is added here since the Passion of Christ is meaningless unless the Resurrection is kept in mind. Passion, Death, and Resurrection is the new Passover, from the death of sin to the life of freedom in love. This "fifteenth station' should be done before the Resurrected Christ in the tabernacle.

Not just the best little booklet for Lent Season, but year-round
Its the same as the one I remembered reading during the Lent seasons for many years before we move to another state. This booklet brings Jesus's Passion alive looking at His Passion from His view to us, with a more deep meaningful message to meditate on.

Finally Found It
I was so excited to find the same publication in both Spanish and English for use with an RCIA Class. These adults are dedicated to receiving their Sacraments. Most of them are bi-lingual but a few have very little English skills. I try to duplicate everything everything for them in both languages, but being able to start Lent with Bi-Lingual identical publications of The Way of The Cross is Heaven sent.

Meaningful
A scripture based, meaningful devotional to pray the Stations of the Cross. I love it. My brother is no longer Catholic but spoke at my Mom' s90th birthday how deeply the Stations moved his spirit as a kid. I got him a copy for his birthday.
