Christmas Pickle Ornament (In Glass Jar) ~ 2-piece set
Here's the pickle "legend". A very old Christmas Eve tradition in Germany was to hide a pickle [ornament] deep in the branches of the family Christmas Tree. The parents hung the pickle last after all the other ornaments were in place. In the morning they knew the most observant child would receive an extra gift from St. Nicholas. The first adult who finds the pickle traditionally gets good luck for the whole year.

Perfect Pickle!
Such a cute package, a pickle in a pickle barrel! The pickle has some weight to it and the coloring makes it look like a real pickle! It's a perfect size for hiding! I would highly recommend this product!

Perfect
We always had a pickle hiding in the Christmas tree. Our 10 year grandson is a pickle lover - so this is a perfect gift for him. The presentation in the jar with the history of the tradition on the label is an added bonus. Though I would have preferred a glass pickle - this one is a realistic resin type. It might survive and go on to be a tradition with his future family.

Great ornament at a great price
I love this cute ornament and even better that it comes packed in a real glass pickle jar. It's a gift for a cousin based on a conversation about pickles. They should love it!
